This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Second Half OS™ and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Capitalised terms used here have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. You agree NOT to use the Service to
- Generate, store, or distribute content that violates any applicable law (including child sexual abuse material, terrorism, or human trafficking content).
- Submit content that infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models, prompts, or weights underlying the Service.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or push notifications (“spam”).
- Generate AI content that impersonates a real person, defames a person or business, or fabricates statements attributed to a real person.
- Use the Service to provide medical, legal, tax, or financial advice to others as a regulated professional service.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without prior written consent.
- Interfere with the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service (e.g. denial-of-service, resource exhaustion).
2. Creator and Partner program rules
- Do not generate fraudulent referral clicks or self-refer to harvest commissions. Click and conversion logs are reviewed; suspect activity results in clawback and program termination.
- Do not impersonate Second Half OS™ in marketing materials. Use only the assets and copy we provide.
- Do not run paid traffic to your referral link without prior approval if the campaign uses our trademark or implies endorsement.
- Partners may not seat-share or resell access to clients outside of the seats their plan grants.
3. AI usage limits
The Service uses third-party large language models (currently OpenAI and Anthropic). You are responsible for the prompts you submit and the way you use the outputs. Outputs may be inaccurate or biased; do not rely on them for irreversible decisions without independent verification.
4. Data you upload
You retain all rights in the personal data you submit. By submitting data you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not train AI models on your data, and we do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling story.
5. Reporting abuse
If you encounter content or behaviour on the Service that violates this policy, email abuse@secondhalfos.com. Include URLs or screenshots so we can investigate quickly. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days.
6. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates this AUP without refund. For severe violations (illegal content, fraud, security probes), we will preserve evidence and may report to law enforcement. We reserve the right to update this AUP from time to time; material changes are announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
